Construction Management and Supervision
Inspect and supervise testing of materials, plant and equipment (on-or-off site) as specified by the applicable codes and standards adapted by Ministry of Urban Development (MoUDA) and as indicated in the construction contract. Ensure that construction is not started on individual elements of the work prior to review of detailed drawings, calculations and method statement. Check the accuracy of as-built drawings. At the Consultant’s request, meet weekly with the Contractor, equipment provider subcontractor and periodically with Consultant, beneficiary and concerned authorities as required to discuss progress and resolve problems. Monitor construction progress through review of contractor’s schedules. Recommend acceptance of the works subsequent to completion by the contractor and through inspection by the supervision staff.
